Sugar Plum Market

On Saturday, December 1, I set up at the Sugar Plum Market in the Holiday Plaza Mall.  I had a great time and had a great selling day!  I sold all 5 1/2 dozen cookies and 2 dozen oreo pops!!!  I also received an order for a wedding cake and groom cake.  It was a great day!

Marion First Assembly Autumn Bazaar

 On Saturday, November 3, I set up at the Autumn Bazaar at Marion First Assembly.  I had a great time and look forward to next year.  The best part was I had two people come to the event just to buy cookies!  That meant so much to me and I really appreciate their support and love of cookies!!

MSCC 5K

Grace and I had a great time at the MSCC 5K.  I received an order for 100 greyhound cookies for the Mid-South Greyhound Adoption Black, White and Shades of Grey event!

Crawfordsville Fall Festival

On Saturday, I set up at the Crawfordsville Fall Festival and had a great time!  I made about 12 dozen cookies and came home with about 3 dozen.  I will be at the Marion First Assembly Autumn Bizarre on Saturday, November 3.

Bearstein Bears

This was my second order for Bearstein Bear cookies and I have to admit, the design can be difficult! The bears are popular but not enough for cookie cutters and other decorating items to be made so I have to think outside my box to come up with designs!  This time I decided to do royal icing transfers and it was easier (I use that term very loosely!) than I thought it would be.  The process is you pick a picture and then tape wax paper on top.  Then outline the design with your outline icing color.  Once that dries then you fill in the rest.    Then the next time you CAREFULLY remove the transfer and put some royal icing on the back to "glue" to the cookie and let it dry.
